In exporting items from Tropy, it would be great to be able to include a multivalue separator, such as “|” or “;” (either predefined or something the user can specify) to make it possible to, for example, define multiple “subjects” for an item; or otherwise, perhaps, to have the ability to specify that the tags of an item should be exported into a specific variable.
Multi-value support, in general, is something we’ll be looking to add to Tropy.
In the short-term, you’re right, the Omeka plugin could use its own separator to split up values. Without making any promises, we’ll look into this when we do the next update of the plugin.
