Blurry photo quality

Hello, I’m having difficulties with the quality of photos imported into Tropy. When I view them in Tropy, they are very blurry, even though the originals are much clearer (for example, when I view them in Preview). Is there some way to change the setting when I import things?

Hi,

are those photos PDFs by any chance? If so, there is a Default density setting in the preferences (for future imports). You can also change the density in the Photo section of the metadata panel (for already imported PDFs).

I think the issue pointed out is the low resolution on the list view/preview? I struggle with this issue too, as a bit higher resolution there would help my workflow to prioritise. I guess it would have performance implications, but happy to compromise if that is possible (i.e. custom thumbnails resolution). Current work around is use separate image viewer, but of course this is not ideal

sorry for the follow up: Other useful feature would be a way to move to next item in the item viewer, enabling browsing through in high resolution

You can do the latter by using Alt + the arrow keys. Alt+up/down selects the next or previous item (depending on the order currently in the project view) and Alt + left/right selects the next or previous photo in the current item.
