Can't upload photos that have been deleted once before

Hi there, I’m running into a problem where, let’s say I have uploaded 10 photos to a list, and then I am reorganizing lists and ways of categorizing them and I decide to delete the original list, I cannot then upload the same 10 photos to a new list. It’s like it has a memory that those photos were once there, and the upload process simply doesn’t work.

I have tried going in and finding them in the deleted items and deleting them permanently, but that doesn’t change anything. How can I get it to forget and just upload the photos again?

Cancel that, I think - I clicked on the project name at the top and found the photos.
