Is it possible to export tags from one Tropy project and import them into another? My two projects are organized around separate archival collections but have a fair amount of overlap.
Sorry, I know I can export tags to a CSV file using the Export Tags command. I can’t work out how to import them into the new project. Thanks!
I believe we never added a way to import tags from a CSV, because we questioned the general usefulness of this since adding new tags via works whether or not the tags already exist. We could add the functionality though; I assume you’re trying to import a very long list?
As a quick workaround you could create an item (or use an existing item), add all tags to it and then copy paste the item to the other project: this would also create all the tags.
About 500 tags. That work-around is genius. I’ll let you know how it works out.
