I recently changed computers, so have been updating the links to all my photos in Tropy. Last week when I did this, I only needed to click on a single item, renew the link and it would ask if I would like it to automatically do this for the rest of the images in that folder–it all worked beautifully. This morning I agreed to a Tropy update (‘a new Helper’), and now it is no longer re-making these links automatically. I have too many photos to do this manually, can you help? Thank you!
Hi, please confirm: you are using Tropy v1.17.3 and the project type is ‘Advanced’? Do you use absolute or relative photo paths (Preferences > Project > Link photos)? What happens when you click the triangle icon to consolidate a photo, Tropy doesn’t ask to look for further images in that folder? Did you move the image folder or change its structure lately? Is the image folder on your computer or on a cloud drive?
