Help - I can no longer open my Tropy!

I have a problem with my Tropy. This morning I was able to go to the Tropy app and browse all folders as usual. However, after updating my MacBook, I can no longer get access to my folders. It always appears the message: Database file could not be found or opened. as subitems I can click appears: Copy error message / Show logs / Hide.

I have also already re-uploaded all the image files I had inserted in Tropy from the cloud, but I don’t know what to do.

Does anyone have any advice or can help me?

Hi,

Tropy stores your projects in *.tpy files. Maybe the *.tpy files got moved or the rights changed for some reason. Could you locate the *.tpy file of your project (typically in Documents on macOS and Windows, otherwise search for *.tpy files) and double click it to open it? Also make sure Tropy has the rights to open the file.
