Hello again.
I’m not sure whether this is a bug or something done by design.
I’m running Tropy 1.2.0 on Windows 10. In word processors like MS Word and MS Notepad, it’s possible to press Ctrl + Shift + Left Arrow to highlight a preceding word. This is a combination of the functions Ctrl + Left Arrow (which moves the cursor to the beginning of a word) and Shift + Left Arrow (which highlights the preceding character). When I do this in the Tropy note-pad, however, one of two things happens: If the text is not formatted as a block quote, it works just fine. But if the text is formatted as a block quote, pressing these keys once removes the block-quote formatting and it’s only by pressing them again that I can highlight the preceding word. Here is what it looks like:
Can someone tell me whether this is a bug or an intentional feature? I’d like to be able to highlight words this way within block quotes.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for all your work.
