I just downloaded Tropy to my macOS and wanted to begin working with my JPEG files. However, when I tried importing them I kept getting the message SQLITE ERROR: NO SUCH TABLE . I am not trying to import from the Photos app, so that should not be a problem. I am importing photos from a location on my desktop. What’s going on?
Also, I echo x 1000 the need for pdf compatibility.
After the import fails, please select Help -> Show log files from the menu and post your project.log file. This will help us figure out what’s going on there. Thanks!

I’m afraid we’ll need the whole file. If you shutdown Tropy and restart the log file will be reset and will be much smaller.
However, this error really looks as if there is something wrong with your project file. Did you by any change move or remove the project’s .tpy file? By default the project file would be created in your Documents folder; it is fine to move the project file after creation while Tropy is closed; if you move the file while Tropy is open I would expect to see errors like those above.

No, I had only just begun to import photos. I had not moved anything. After shutting down and reopening Tropy, I received the following message:
/Users/scott/Documents/Sartre mss.tpy no project found.
The project log is still too large to post after restarting.
I think the best thing to is to create a new project, because the original project file seems to be missing.
If the new project wizard does not open automatically, you can open it via the menu by selecting File -> New -> Project. To make sure it works this time, I would create the project, then, when the project window opens, shutdown Tropy; check the Documents folder that the file actually exists and then restart Tropy.
