Hello, I’m new to Tropy and very excited to start using it.

I have an Omeka site but I like the idea of having a tool to work with research photos offline. I’m also using Zotero to manage and annotate published essays.

Unlike Zotero, Tropy lacks the ability to expand the metadata fields display into multiple lines of text, which I think it’s a big issue. One line of text is too limited and I wish this could be improved.

Also, when searching for some words, It would be great to have highlighted results for easy finding, specially when there’s a lot of text to read.

Finally, sometimes there’s a need to have multiple same metadata fields, like creators, for example and I think this can’t be accomplished.

Thanks! I think those are all good points and we are planning to address them in future releases.

Just bumping this topic up and wishing some of this points can be addressed. I think multiple lines of text metadata fields are really needed.
