Moving all tropy files

Hello,

I’ve been using Tropy for some time now and had it stored in Dropbox but I would like to move it to my iCloud. However, when I go to download the .tropy folder, it says it will take 2 days to download and barely downloads if I try. There are not that many photos in the project, perhaps close to 1500 taken on my phone, so I am not sure why it is. Any tips? The folder is 15.9 GB, apparently.

Liz

The project size depends on your photos. Tropy currently stores your original photos unmodified, so if your iPhone photos are about 10 MB each, the project size doesn’t sound unreasonable (in the next release we’re adding an option to optimize stored images for smaller project sizes, while keeping the quality acceptable). That said, I think your iPhone photos should be smaller than that. Can you check how big the photos are and which format they use? Also, check the .tropy folder on Dropbox: is the 16 GB all in the ‘assets’ folder? And how many files are there in the folder?
