Hello! Having some trouble with the pdf export. I grouped a selection of pages/photos from a primary source text and want to export them as a pdf. (So I can save the text in a less space consuming way.)
When I right click on the grouping, I get a dropdown menu that includes “export item” with the option to export as pdf. (I just have to choose portrait vs landscape.) The “Processing items” message then appears in the lower left corner. (Seems promising!) And then disappears?
Is a pdf being made and saved somewhere? Anyone else struggling with this?
When the PDF is created at the end of the process, a dialog should appear where you can select where to save the file to. If no dialog shows up there’s probably something wrong; if there’s no error message, I’d also check the log file (select the menu entry Help → Show log files) for an error message or warning. If there’s nothing obvious, please try the export one more time and then save the log file afterwards and post it here for us to take a look at it.
As a quick workaround you can also try creating a PDF via the operating system’s print dialog. So instead of exporting to PDF directly, you can select the items and select Print from the File menu. This should open the print dialog which usually allows you to save as PDF.
