I struggle to open one of my project Tropy since this mornin. It’s startint while I was downloading images from my Mac to the project and the images didn’t appear anymore. Now I can’t even open the project.
I can still open the others projetcts
This error suggests that the file isn’t there anymore. Can you confirm that in Finder?
We often see this kind of thing happening with iCloud or other shared folders which can offload files to optimize disk space.

Yes, that’s the most likely causing the issue. It depends on how you have set-up and configured the shared folder. When you open a project in Tropy will open your project file and continuously write to it while you make changes. It is not safe to access the project file while you have it open in Tropy. With file-syncing this means that you need to be careful not to work on the project at the same time. Always make sure that the file is fully synced before you open it and make sure to close it in Tropy after you’ve made your changes.
If there’s some ‘download on demand’ feature in nextcloud I’d recommend disabling it for the project file or otherwise always make sure the file is actually downloaded before opening it.
