Hi,
I had to change the file structure on my drive, so the folders with both the Tropy project and the folders for the photos are in different locations. I did not rename them. There is an exclamation point next to my project on the opening window, but when I click on it to try to direct it to the new photo location, I can’t really select anything. I can open folders, but that’s it.
Thank you so much for your help. You guys are the best.
Did you move all your photos ‘together’, i.e., did you only move/rename a common root folder that all the photos are under? In that case it should be easy to fix either by picking one photo at its new location (this should work unless you’re on Windows and moved the photos to a different drive; can you share a screenshot of the file dialog where you can’t select anything?).
The faster alternative would be to update the paths directly in the project file, which is a regular SQLite file. If you are on Linux or macOS you likely have the tools for this already installed; on Windows you’d have to download an sqlite-capable db client first.
If you share the project file with us and explain the full path to your photos we can also update the file for you.
