Selection coordinates in export

I’m loving these JSON-LD exports! Getting structured data out of a tool like this is invaluable (and sadly rare).

Are selection coordinates on your road map for exports? If so I’d like to +1 that idea. Downstream of Tropy, I’d like to use selections for generating web annotations, cropping/post-processing/OCR, producing detail images, etc, but won’t be able to without the selections’ coordinates.

Yes! We’re still tinkering with the format (and are held back, somewhat because we will rely on a number of JSON-LD 1.1 features which are not widely implemented yet), but coordinates will definitely be part of it. (Producing the detail images is also something Tropy should be able to do for you, I’d say.)
