I was just adding metadata to an image in Tropy and it crashed. Now the vault is empty: it says the file is 334 KB. I have a partial backup but I’m wondering whether there is a way to retrieve the last saved version of the vault?
Did you save the log file after the crash? Or do you remember what the error was?
How big is the backup file you have? And is the file only empty or does it say it is malformed/corrupted? With 334 KB there’s certainly something in the file. If you can share it with us we can take a look to see if it’s possible to tell what happened.
I don’t believe it gave me an error message actually. The file appears as empty, does not give me a message about corruption. What’s the best way to share the file with you? I tried attaching it here but the file format was not accepted.
