We store our images and other data on an internal server. (We’ve got a collection of approx. 1 million images that are desperately seeking an archival database.) Can Tropy be installed on the server so multiple users can build/work on/add to the same file(s)? And can they do so simultaneously?
Tropy is currently available only as a desktop app (it also has an HTTP API so you could install it on a server and run it in headless mode, in theory, but you’d have no UI).
You could put one or more Tropy project files on the server and multiple users could access them with Tropy from different devices (the project files would need to be accessible via the file system, the images either via the file system or via HTTP). However, simultaneous access is not currently supported.
