Tropy works slow on new laptop

Hi,

My Tropy has been working slowly ever since I started using a new laptop, e.g. there is lag when typing and folders and files open slowly. The location of my documents hasn’t changed; they were stored in my university’s OneDrive (but maybe that’s the problem?). I have already consolidated all my files. I have a lot of images in my project already (about 6,000), but I haven’t uploaded many new documents since switching laptops, and I never had any problems with my old one. My new laptop is also a significant upgrade compared to my previous one (they are both Macs), so I am unsure where the problem may lie. Do you have any idea where the problem may lie and/or any tips on how to fix it?

Can you post your log file? I suspect that you may be using the Intel version on a new Apple Silicon Mac. In that case just quit Tropy, remove it from the Applications folder and install the Apple Silicon version instead.
