It would be nice to edit the boundaries of a selection box after its creation. Currently, if a selection box is misplaced I need to delete it and redraw the correct area. More complex bounding shapes (not only boxes) would also be useful, since sometimes newspaper digitized pages are not perfect grids.

When using the selection feature, it is sometimes impossible to make the selection box include the top part of the image, as it is occluded by the menu bar (the one that includes the option to choose the selection box). When the menu bar appears, the top of the image should not be occluded, but should be moved down so it is still visible. It seems as if one can select under the menu bar, but the resulting selection does not actually include that portion of the image.
