Tropy crashed while I was toggling between Project View and Item View. (Was I was trying to fix my problem with Item View not working (here).
When I restarted, around 100 photos that I had just added and tagged were now missing. Only the last 15 or so were still in the project.
Is there any way to retrieve the lost images?

I just discovered what happened to my missing photos: they were all merged for some reason when Tropy crashed. Very strange.
The only thing I can think of is that we have you might have hit the shortcut Cmd/Ctrl - Shift - M to merge all selected items?
The other question is why the crash happened in the first place. You can open the log folder via Help -> Show log folder – should Tropy crash again, the project.log in that folder might help us figure out the cause.
